Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza at 9:00 AM to start your tour by visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum to enjoy it with a special tour inside the conservation labs.
First, you will visit the conservation center and listen to the local tour guide to the story of our project. Then the guide will lead you to visit the available laboratories (it is difficult to specify what labs will be available by this time; however we can provide this information shortly before the visit).
Inside the labs, you will see the ancient Egyptian artifacts during their restoration process and hear from the restoration specialists about how they restore the antiques and what technology they use.
Your Tour inside the GEM will be approx one hour.
After that, move ahead to the Giza Pyramids (Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos). You will start your tour by visiting the pyramids area with a special visit to the great pyramid from the inside (included in the tour).
Then move to visit the magnificent ancient boat known as the solar boat discovered in 1954 beside the great pyramid of king Cheops.
Then move to the panorama zone to get a wonderful view of the pyramids, take lots of awesome pictures, and get the opportunity to ride a camel or horse for 15 minutes.
After that, visit the Valley Temple of king Chephren where his body was embalmed.
From the valley temple, you can go close to the Great Sphinx, the legendary guardian standing by the massive funeral complex with its head of King Chephren and a lion body.
Lunch is included in local Egyptian restaurants.
After finishing your tour, we will drop you off at your hotel.
