Start your day tour from your hotel in Luxor or your Nile Cruise, our tour guide will pick you up in the morning to discover one of the perfect temples in Egypt (Dandara temple) and the holy city of Abydos.
Start your tour at Abydos in Middle Egypt about 135 km from Luxor, and 420 km south of Cairo in Suhag Governorate. It was an ancient sacred place and cemetery of the rulers of the first and second dynasties (3000 B.C).
In Abydos, you will enjoy visiting the temple of the God Osiris (Lord of the underworld) as ancient Egyptians believed that the God Osiris was buried there.
The temple was built by King Seti I and completed by his son Ramesses II. The Temple also is known as the temple of Seti I.
