Saqqara Necropolis

Saqqara, the first large-scale necropolis in Egypt’s capital and pyramid field.it has been an important historical site for 5,000 years. Where is the Step Pyramid?

Saqqara Necropolis is an exceptional archaeological site located a few kilometers south of Cairo and about fifteen kilometers from the Giza Plateau. It is the largest of its kind in Egypt. The last discovery was in July 2018, when they exhumed the remains of the mummification laboratory, which included five mummies in their coffins.

The Dahshur Necropolis contains two of the best-preserved pyramids in Egypt, which they built during the reign of King Sneferu (2613-2589 BC).
